# What this Blog is

I’m figuring it out. I guess that’s what this blog is. It’s my younger self’s dream of delving into tech coming true. It’s an honest take of a 24 year old women in tech’s experience. It’s hope that perhaps all that truly matters to succeed in any industry is a genuine interest and passion in the work.

It’s me dramatically blabbing and hopefully making you laugh from time to time.

# What this Blog isn’t

Boring. If you’re going to spend two minutes reading what I write, you bet your butts I’m going to make this as funny as possible.

My parents and sister warned me that if I want to make friends, I should definitely not be writing any poor attempts at what I would call a joke, so we’ll see how well I do. Wish my luck. My sister says I’d need it.

Thank you. Thank you so much, because the way I see it, if you spend just ten seconds giving a person’s blog a try, it’s a bit of a jump in saying “Maybe this person knows something. Let me give them a chance.”, and I thank you for that.

Is this all corny to say? Probably, but hey, I’m from the Midwest. My high school used to be a corn field for god’s sake.

Also, no matter who you are, I genuinely hope you have a fantastic rest of your day.
